This post means the world to me for several reasons.
These beautiful videos were created by friends and colleagues from my very tiny town in Italy. They describe the time when the industry in Italy was creating pieces of art, not products. They talk about talents like Guy Berryman who are saving our heritage, making sure these cars are preserved with love and care.
Even if I cannot find the time to grab my camera and capture amazing projects like these, being there with our Instamic makes me feel there.

"My name is Riccardo Vojvoda, I'm a professional sound engineer. Me, my brother Edoardo, who is the director and editor, and my dear friend Alessandro Venier, the photographer, are specialized on automotive videos and documercials. We work for Italian brands such as Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Abarth.
I was looking for a smart solution to record car engine sounds in a practical and quick way. I invested a lot on lavaliers and wireless systems, which sound great but are complicated to apply and hide in the car, plus they are delicate and I always worry when I'm not familiar with the car.
Then I tried Instamic. I was quite skeptical at first because I doubted that an affordable mic/recorder like Instamic could resist such high SPL level and maintain the quality I needed. So the first time I used it, I coupled it with another lavalier mic.
They were crucial for my project and the key to an authentic way of capturing the action!
